Marlborough
is know around the world for its award-winning wines, and especially Sauvignon
Blanc. Marlborough's climate and natural feature also mean that locally
produced fruit, vegetables, and seafood is all world-class.
With wonderful local ingredients it not surprising that there are numerous
quality restaurants and cafes in Marlborough. Many Marlborough
wineries have a restaurant or cafe where you can enjoy fine
food while you sip fine wine.
The annual Wine
Marlborough festival (second Saturday in
February each year) is now an established show-case for the region's bounty
and draws people from all over the world to taste and see for themselves
the excellence that is Marlborough.
